Mom and Granny get busy: DIY Sensory Blocks

Granny getting her craft on

Granny M (my mommy) lives in Port Elizabeth, so once a month she comes up to Johannesburg to visit her little grandson Hudson. We just love it when she comes to visit, we always have so much fun.

On her last visit we decided to make Hudson his very own sensory blocks. So we rushed out to get all the supplies we would need: 6 wooden blocks, felt, wool, feathers, felt balls, ribbons, letters to spell out his name Hudson on the blocks and craft glue. We sat for hours chatting and creating these special blocks.

These are so simple to make and are wonderful sensory toys for your little one to explore and discover new textures.

I cannot wait until Hudson can play with his very own sensory blocks.
